Frans and I have been invited to the university of Eastern Finland to speak about career writing and career learning processes and share our know-how with colleagues there. We’re delighted to be going.
We met some of our Scandanavian colleagues at the International Association of Educational and Vocational Guidance conference in Madrid in 2016.
There was a lot of interest in career writing at that conference as career practitioners look for new ways to work with students and clients. They are interested in various practical ways to do work and can see that a narrative and dialogical approach can respond to the complexities we now face.
We look forward to sharing the practice, its theoretical foundations and the research that supports the credibility of this work.
